Our littlest little wonder entered our world today, Violet June Lincicome. She was born at 6:11p.m. and weighs 10lbs 12 oz (!) and 22 inches long. Everyone is doing well. We are grateful.

My covenant group of pastors is reading a great new book by Shane Claiborne and Chris Haw Jesus for President, about what it means for us to have a political imagination as Christians in a world torn by partisan politics.
